This is a beautiful freeform shaped pendant made from Purple swirl slag glass from Leeland Michigan. This is actually a slag glass that was a byproduct of copper and iron smelting from 150-100 years ago. The slag glass was dumped into lake Michigan and was tumbled by the waves and comes ashore to this day and is highly sought by collectors and crafters for making beautiful and unique jewelry like these. Comes with a silver plated bail and a 22" leather cord.
